Well, Groundhog Day has passed and we are supposed to have six more weeks of winter. However, something in the air this week has me thinking springy thoughts! At the very least, with warmer daytime temperatures, we’ll be tapping the maple trees on the homestead and beginning to plan out our garden. (So. Many. Seed. Catalogs!) These tasks remind me that winter won’t last forever (nothing does), and change is on the horizon.

February also brings a moment to celebrate love in all its forms. Whether you’re spending Valentine’s Day with a partner, friends, family, or simply carving out some well-deserved time for yourself, I hope you find a way to do something that feels nourishing and kind. A little extra care this time of year can go a long way toward lifting those late-winter spirits.

In that same spirit of renewal, we’re doing a bit of spring cleaning here at the shop. From March 1st through March 31st, we’ll be offering 25% off select products as we make room for new, unscented products from Original Moxie. It’s a lovely opportunity to stock up on favorites or try something new while we transition out of winter and into brighter days.

Our Product of the Month feels especially timely: a beautiful Mediterranean Sea Mist that gives hair those effortless, just-back-from-vacation waves. Think soft texture, movement, and that relaxed, beachy feel — a tiny preview of spring break, even if you’re still wearing boots. Sometimes a small shift like that can remind us that sunnier days really are on their way.

Mare Mediterranean Sea Mist

The perfect beachy spring break waves or second day hair can be found in this bottle. Mare thickens, adds volume and amplifies texture without any dryness or stiffness.  Perhaps the best part is the scent — A blend of vanilla, bergamot, lemon and almond that will instantly transport you to shores of Southern Italy.

How Mare Works

Powered by rice seed extract to add volume and strengthen hair, while algae extract thickens strands. A dash of Mediterranean sea salt conditions and amplifies texture. Air dry, diffuse or use as a dry shampoo to refresh hair.

The Method

Shake before each use. Apply to damp hair all over, twist hair into sections, and air dry to create perfect beachy texture.  For major volume, apply at the roots and blow out.  To create separation and volume, apply mid-shaft through ends of dry hair.  You can even use Mare as a substitute for dry shampoo between washes.
